Sonchia's sense of design was instilled during her childhood in the historic cities of New Orleans, St. Louis, and Boston. After receiving her undergraduate degree in Art History from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Sonchia worked on residential projects with Interior Design firms in both Boston and Telluride, Colorado. Sonchia first came to Savannah, GA to receive a Master's in Architectural History from the Savannah College of Art & Design. It was during this time that Sonchia worked with Carolyn for three years until she completed her degree and moved back to Telluride, CO. After ten years in Telluride, Sonchia returned to Savannah bringing her interest in clean, casual interiors back to work with Hultman Interiors. Sonchia believes that good design is based just as much on trust and organization, as well as passion and creativity. Sonchia graduated top of her class from the Savannah College of Art & Design and sat as Chair of the Town of Telluride's Historical Architectural Review Commission (HARC) for 4 years. Recent interior projects have been featured in Telluride's Shelter Magazine.
